[PREVIEW] What’s Going on at Temple This Weekend? (2/9 & 2/10)

Timmy Trumpet – Main Room (Friday 2/9)

Not many DJ’s would dare walk on stage and play the trumpet. It takes some brass. Timmy is undoubtedly one of the most unique performers currently ranked in the DJ Mag Top 100. His classical jazz background in Australia truly sets him apart from a majority of EDM. Astoundingly, at the age of thirteen Timmy was named ‘Young Musician of the Year’, granted a full scholarship to the Conservatorium of Music, secured a position as the leading solo trumpet player in the Australian All-Star Stage Band, and toured some of the world’s biggest Jazz Festivals. He has since changed his tune and focused on Electronic Music, a genre he also has dominated with hits like The Buzz, Psy Or Die and Party Til We Die. Check out his newest single with Hardwell, The Underground and get ready for a crazy evening at Temple.

BONES – LVL (Friday 2/9)

HOUSE MUSIC ALL NIGHT LONG. Trevor Moffitt aka BONES knows how to step on stage and keep the beat flowing all night long, providing infectious grooves and good vibes to the dancefloor. His sets are a melange of house, future, garage, deep, and techno. If you aren’t already familiar with Bones, you may be familiar with many of the other projects he is involved with. Part founder of Gotta Dance Dirty, manager of Night Bass, and head of A&R at Sweat It Out! Records, BONES is no stranger to the scene. Check out his SoundCloud and run through the countless mixes he has on his page to get you through the day!

Stafford Brothers – Main Room (Saturday 2/10)

Nothing beats the chemistry that comes from siblings creating music together. You can finish each others musical sentences and create unparalleled magic in the studio. The Stafford Brothers are no different. Matt and Chris Stafford have collaborated with titans of industry (T.I., Rick Ross, Lil Jon, Christina Milian, Jay Sean and Eva Simons), sold millions of records, and now host headline club nights in the party capitals of the world. Oh, did I mention they were the first DJ’s to have their own reality TV show ‘The Stafford Brothers’ broadcast on a major network (FOX). This is a Temple Saturday you wont want to miss.

Judge – LVL (Saturday 2/10)

Judge is a bit of an enigma. Across the internet, there is little information on him, save the Pigeons and Planes article detailing how one of his beats ended up on Young Thugs latest project, Beautiful Thugger Girls. To sum it all up, an A&R close to Young Thug gave him a follow on Twitter and over time Judge sent over 75+ beats, one of which eventually struck gold. Scrolling through his SoundCloud is a gold mine. Recently he dropped an EP called X, full of fire collabs from top to bottom with Alexander Lewis, Dylan Brady, X&G, Graves, and Wax Motif. Just more proof that the hard work of an unkown producer can pay off big time. Judge is high on my radar and not going anywhere soon.
