[PREVIEW] Two Nights of GRiZ at Red Rocks Are Upon Us

We are finally just a few days away from a long awaited weekend of GRiZ at Red Rocks. Anyone who has ever seen a GRiZ performance will likely testify to the pure release of energy and emotion that exudes from the speakers and swells amongst the crowd. His signature fusion of live instruments and electronic sounds have built a fan base far and wide. Whether he is playing a secret DJ set or a headlining performance, GRiZ is able to seize the moment and let the good times roll.

Colorado is a second home to GRiZ and he has been playing shows at Red Rocks for years. He has reached a point in his career with the freedom to experiment with his live show and hold it down at Red Rocks for two nights in a row. Kicking off the first night of September will be a full live band followed by a traditional GRiZ set on September 2nd. Rumors have been circulating about who will be making up the live band. It is almost certain to include Muzzy Bearr, but the list of potential band mates extends to Cherub, Big Gigantic, SunSquabi, Artifakts, Leo Napier and so many others. The All Good family is sure to be out in full force.

Each night will include a diverse array of support. Night one will feature Barclay Crenshaw, The Funk Hunters and Falcon Punch. Night two will bring out Brasstracks, JNTHN STEIN and Falcon Punch. While tickets have sold out off the official website, there are still numerous tickets circulating the internet. I would declare this weekend a must experience for GRiZ fans, so if you have the opportunity to snag a ticket, don’t think twice. With nearly a year since his last album, it may even be possible to hear some new tunes. The only way to find out is to head up to the Rocks this Friday and Saturday. Oh, and did we mention that a remix album for Good Will Prevail, Good Will Continue, dropped less then two weeks ago! We’ll see you there!
