[PREVIEW] KRANE Comes to Crane City Tomorrow

If you’ve lived in Denver the last two years or so and you have two working eyes then you’ve undoubtedly noticed the rich abundance of cranes that have taken over our fine city like a herd of giant mechanical Brontosauruses. They have popped up everywhere, especially downtown. While the rate has slowed since last year, when we had the third most of any U.S city (perhaps the second most because this article insinuates that Toronto is in the U.S), they still tower throughout our skyline. In fact, Denver has commonly become referred to as “Crane City”. Ok, we made that last part up. But it makes the title of this article so witty.

Enough nonsense. The point is one of the hottest names making waves in bass music right now is coming to The Black Box in Denver tomorrow and he goes by the name KRANE. He’s currently on his “Fallout” tour, following up the album by the same name (listen below). With his original style of melodic trap and bass music, KRANE has been hitting the festival circuit and touring all over lately, while also opening up for names like Slander, NGHTMRE, Keys n Krates, Dada Life, and Party Favor. Three months ago he dropped one of the hottest mixes we’ve ever heard on Diplo & Friends. Safe to say the dude is on a tear.

Not to be overlooked is the main support on this tour hailing all the way from Singapore; MYNRE. He’s got a style similar to KRANE, but he dips his pen slightly more in the “future bass” ink. More chopped up and less anthemic than his California counterpart. The biggest thing that the two have in common is that they bring it hard, and hearing them on the Bass Couch system tomorrow night at Denver’s #1 bass music venue is going to be a sweet treat.

Comin’ in hot before MYRNE takes the stage will be Kyral x Banko, who recently made the move from Chicago to Denver and are already one of the most talked-about names in the 303, with their “diverse sound that fuses their hip-hop background with distinguishable synth work and technicality meshed with driving bass elements.” Last but not least, Black Box regular support, Synchronicity, will be kicking off what’s sure to be a sendy night of bass music. Check out the podcast she recently did for Sub.mission here.

Join us this Friday night at The Black Box at 9pm, as we welcome these ballers of bass. Find more information by visiting the links below.
