Is Hooks of Zeds Dead the Banksy of Bass Music?

HooksLarimerLoungeMural2014_2Much like the notorious British street artist called “Banksy”, Hooks of the massively popular DJ duo “Zeds Dead” enjoys graffiti-ing buildings with his signature style, leaving his mark on the cities he performs in. This past year (2014) Hook’s made his Denver premier with the creation of an art instillation at the Larimer Lounge during the days leading up to the their inaugural “Dead Rocks” show at the famous Red Rocks Amphitheater.

This year (2015) the multi-talented artist returns to Denver for another round of graffiti and music for the second annual “Dead Rocks” show at Red Rocks and an additional outdoor mural at the Larimer Lounge. The mural is to be painted during a massive pre-party hosted by¬† Zeds Dead and a slew of their friends at the Lounge the night before the show. The party will not only showcase Hook’s artistry but also musical performances by the DJ duo as well as many guest artists yet to be announced. 541569_10152998775390488_368149604698146774_nWith the amount of talent that is going to be showcased during this event it will be one of the highlight shows of the summer and is not something to be skipped!
