Red Rocks season is still in full swing, with shows like Mad Decent Block Party, Rowdytown, and GRiZ, but unfortunately it will be winding down soon. Not to worry, as The Fillmore has more than enough incredible events coming to its fantastic stage and we are excited for all of them!
Starting off on September 12th, we will see Empire of The Sun taking over Denver with their electronic-pop sound and over-the-top performance style. Since their chart topping songs “Alive” and “Walking On A Dream”, this duo has been selling out venues around the world. Guaranteed to pack The Fillmore, this concert is not one you are going to want to skip. Tickets are available HERE, and you cancheck out the “Alive” music video below, before you go see them early next month.
Next, we have a week of shows so special it could be the best 7 day music movement of the year! Starting October 23rd we have the unique sounds of The Polish Ambassador (TPA) bringing his multi-genre performance to Colorado for the closing of his 2015 tour. With his combination of hip-hop, electronic break beats, and psychedelic funk, TPA looks to pack the house with concert goers all moving to his distinct style of sound. You can get tickets to this show HERE. Also listen to his most recent track “Ricochet Syllables“ here:
Also, the Colorado favorite Michal Menert (having just played with Savoy at the newly coined national landmark that is Red Rocks) is bringing his self proclaimed “space-jazz” sound to The Filllmore on October 30th. After mastering solo performances and shows with his trademark “big band”, this time around he’ll be playing with “The Pretty Fantastics”, which has the looks of an electro hip hop soul super group. Infusing jazzy sounds with hip-hop electro, Mr. Menert takes “different” to a whole new level, stepping onto the stage with a signature sound that few artists can ever hope to replicate. This (ironically also) Polish artist has fully embraced his massive Colorado fandom by returning year after year to his home state, for impressive performances that combine many genres. One of his latest songs “Lightyears Apart”, a more chill downtempo beat, has been making waves in the music world with its purity and clean sound. You can grab tickets HERE to this show and check out this incredible tune here:
Last but not least, providing Denver the perfect Halloween event will be LOTUS, an electro band that changes the game when it comes to genre labeling, and simply makes the music they want to hear. Having encountered massive success with their style of music that brings together rock sounds with an electro-jam band style, LOTUS has graced the stages of every festival, from Ultra to Outside Lands. The Colorado crowd is sure to show support for this well-loved group, as they return to our state for a very special performance this Halloween. Tickets are available HERE, but will be going fast so act now. While you’re at it, take a peek at their 2013 performance at a packed Red Rocks Amphitheater:
All together this fall is lining up to be a pretty amazing time at The Fillmore Auditorium. With all of these very individual artists bringing their special and unique sounds to Denver these upcoming months, expect the Colorado music scene to be welcoming them warmly. Again, expect all of these shows to sell out due to the popularity of these groups in CO, so act now on those tickets and we’ll see you there!
