[REVIEW] ProJect Aspect Drops Electrifying EP ‘Cortex’; Stream It Here!

All the way back in 2008, Jay Jaramillo, brainchild behind ProJect Aspect, started a paradigm for exploring new music, styles, and engaging with his beloved electronic music community. Now, fast-forward to present day and ProJect Aspect has a bass heavy, three-song EP entitled Cortex. With over 12 years of musical experience and almost ten years in producing electronic music, ProJect Aspect has been mastering his craft and has developed an instantly recognizable sound that soothes the ears and keeps your body moving to those good vibrations.

Jay Jaramillo, aka ProJect Aspect

‘Vortex Complex’, featuring Asteria, gets things started with a head bobbing, funky track that also showcases some solid rap. The track instantly gets any basshead grooving, and as such is a solid first pick to kick off the EP. Stream Cortex below.

I'm a geeky kid who never grew out of the 90s mindset. A lover of video games, avid anime watcher, and discussing everything about music are just a few of my favorite things to do. My favorite type of sounds are hip hop, EDM and every electric synth in between. Some of my favorite artists include DJ Craze, Keys N Krates, RL Grime, Troyboi and NGHTMRE.
