Red Rocks holds many performances every year, perhaps even hundreds, but each year one recurring event continues to go harder and harder, bigger and better. At the end of September happy ravers flood the venue to see the rocks turn a multitude of colors from the lasers and lights, and to hear the echoes of new exhilarating music reverberate from the rocks as Rowdytown takes over the Amphitheatre. Such a huge performance and event is held by none other than Big Gigantic, whom each September amplify the mini-festival to be greater than the previous, and this year is no different.
Seven years Big Gigantic has sold out their own festival at Red Rocks and go all out like it is their last, constantly updating their performance for an even more memorable experience. The visuals are truly breathtaking and encompass the entire stage, even illuminating the rocks behind the seats. Big Gigantic’s music sets your mind at ease with the live instruments and vocals, with an experience that is an auditory and visual serenity. This year Big Gigantic is truly taking it to the max by bringing new 3D technology for the first time ever! Not only that, but each night they will be playing new, unreleased music! Knowing that, going both days is the only way to get the full experience.
However, if one night is all that you can do, Big Gigantic has a line up accompanying them as big as their name. Friday see the live band of Boogie T.Rio, whose groovy, hip-hop electric style would be a fan of anyone who likes Big G. Hailing from the Netherlands, San Holo as well as DROELOE also hit the stage Friday with their trap and future bass sounds.
Don’t miss this truly once in a lifetime event with never before heard music, 3D visuals and a memorable lineup!
