[PREVIEW] Avast Ye! Step Aboard The Pirate Party

Ahoy, Me Hearties! Just under a month separates us from the biggest pirate-themed music and art festival in the Pacific Northwest! Voyage for The Pirate Party begins July 21-24th in Lolo, MT, and all bass-loving, headbanging seadogs are cordially invited to set sail for the celebration! Held, rightfully so, in “The Treasure State” of Montana, The Pirate Party will be entering it’s 9th anniversary. Landlubbers; Ye be warned!

The Pirate Party is officially entering it’s 9th anniversary of Pirate-themed debauchery. MusikLivesHere and Headyworks have been hard at work making sure that this year’s Pirate Party is the best one to date. With stage setups like, Domeviziona geodesic, custom-built dome for events that aims at minimizing the festival’s ecological footprint. Nothing better than 360 degree visuals and being environmentally conscious at the same time.

The official lineup for the Pirate Party 2017 is definitely stacked. With heavyweight headliners like: Emancipator Ensemble, Mt. Eden, Buku, Desert Dwellers, Perfect Stranger,  Zion I and many more amazing supporting artists.  I am nothing short of excited for three days packed full of bass heavy madness!

There is something for everyone on this voyage. Whether it be for the music, the workshops, the beautiful artwork or the great vibe one gets from connecting with a festival community, The Pirate Party has something in store for every type of pirate. If you don’t have a group to go with, don’t sweat it! It seems one can easily find their crew here. This festival seems to have everything one needs to have an unforgettable experience.

I'm a geeky kid who never grew out of the 90s mindset. A lover of video games, avid anime watcher, and discussing everything about music are just a few of my favorite things to do. My favorite type of sounds are hip hop, EDM and every electric synth in between. Some of my favorite artists include DJ Craze, Keys N Krates, RL Grime, Troyboi and NGHTMRE.
