5. Future Thursdays feat. Gabriel & Dresden @ Beta Nightclub (Aug 10)

House legends  Gabriel & Dresden are coming to Beta Nightclub this Thursday. The enigmatic duo prides themselves in not following trends, and sticking to their most innate impulses. Bring your dancing shoes and a open heart, this will be an emotional night! Opening the night is  Adam Stark and  Z-W.

4. 12″s Of Love: All Vinyl w/ DJ Gary Givant and DJ A-L @ The Black Box (Aug 9)

Need a mid week shake up? As always, The Black Box is keeping things fresh with another night of sonic expansion. When was the last time you heard a DJ spinning vinyl? Well now is your chance, with DJ Gary Givant and DJ A-L. Forming into a weekly event, come listen to a variety of music: R&B, Hip Hop, House, New Jack Swing, Hip-House, Disco, Boogie, 80’s, 90’s, 2000’s on vinyl!

3. Gravity Fridays feat. Gentlemens Club @ Beta Nightclub(Aug 11)

Ever since the Gentlemens Club formed in 2013, the UK-based trio have proved unstoppable, breathing new life into the global dubstep and bass scene with edgy hip-hop and grime influenced bangers. These guys are breathing a breath of fresh air into the EDM world. Joined by local Denver talent Shank Aaron and Slabz.

2. Late Night Radio w/ Marvel Years & Paul Basic @ Cervantes (Aug 10)

Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom is hosting the Pretty Lights Red Rocks Offical Pre-party this Thursday! Late Night Radio is spinning a “vinyl restoration” set, and is joined by Marvel Years and Paul Basic bringing the warm up for the weekend.

1. Pretty Lights Live @ Red Rocks Amphitheater (Aug 11+12)

This guy needs to introduction here in Colorado. Pretty Lights is bring the next episode of his saga to Red Rocks Amphitheater. This is not something to miss, especially if you have not seen Derek Vincent Smith in action with the live band; an allstar lineup of amazing musicans. Opening Friday is Manic Focus and S0Down, which is NOT sold out yet folks. Saturday features G Jones and daily bread.

Hey there, I'm Alan. I grew up in Cincinnati, then following high school I joined the United States Marine Corps. While I was stationed in Hawaii I went to my first electronic show. Since then it's been a long and wild ride. As a metal-head in high school, I naturally gravitated to the heavier side of EDM like dubstep and hardstyle. However, tastes are changing and I also enjoy the mellower side of life. I moved to Denver upon leaving the USMC, and I'm currently attending Metropolitan State University studying Environmental Science, where I also discovered a calling for writing.
