2. Golf Clap & Dateless @ Club Vinyl – Saturday Aug 26

If you’ve kept up with ELCO much the last two months, you know how big of fans we are of the Detroit duo none as Golf Clap. Their sound is anything but a golf clap, what with its hard, heavy, churning house beats. Back in June we named them our #1 favorite act at this year’s Sonic Bloom and it wasn’t even close. It may sound obvious or cliché, but their music can best be described as making you want to dance…like really dance. Just give their recent release with Eyes Everywhere, “Bout That“, a listen and you’ll see what we’re talking about. And then we’ll see you at Vinyl on Saturday.

About Alan Hirtzel 17 Articles
Hey there, I'm Alan. I grew up in Cincinnati, then following high school I joined the United States Marine Corps. While I was stationed in Hawaii I went to my first electronic show. Since then it's been a long and wild ride. As a metal-head in high school, I naturally gravitated to the heavier side of EDM like dubstep and hardstyle. However, tastes are changing and I also enjoy the mellower side of life. I moved to Denver upon leaving the USMC, and I'm currently attending Metropolitan State University studying Environmental Science, where I also discovered a calling for writing.
