This announcement has been over a year in the making! We are beyond excited to announce that we have officially teamed up with Red Rocks Amphitheatre / the City of Denver to bring to you a series of charity drives and unrivaled fan opportunities for YOU, over the course of the 2018 concert season. We will be working with various artists that will be performing at Red Rocks to put together mouth-watering prizes that include free concert tickets, artist meet and greets, backstage Red Rocks tours, and artist merchandise packages, all as reward for participating in our drives and for your continued dedication to the scene. As a quick side note, we’d like to point out that none of this would be possible without our official sponsor, ENT Credit Union. Below is a break down of why we’re doing this, what it entails, and how you become involved.
We are organizing this for a few different reasons. First and foremost, we want to use the power of music, specifically electronic music, to do good. The scene and fanbase here is unlike any other in the world, and there is no reason that we shouldn’t be harnessing that energy to give back to our community and those in need. The dance music world is rooted in peace, love, unity, and respect, so we think it’s time to take that mentality to the next level and really make a difference.
Secondly, you deserve it. Colorado fans (and EDM fans in general) are passionate, tireless, committed, informed, and open minded. Perhaps most of all, they are generous. You’ve spent countless dollars on concert tickets to see and support your favorite DJs, producers, bands, and artists over the years, and you deserve to be rewarded for that. We want to do our part in thanking you, and so does just about every artist out there.
What’s the gist?
Every campaign / show will be unique, but here’s how it works in a nutshell; we will be working with various artists performing at Red Rocks over the remainder of the 2018 concert season to offer incredible, unique prizes and opportunities to fans in exchange for helping make a difference in our community. The artists we will be working with will be both headliners and supporting acts, and we will be partnering with as many as absolutely possible. Prizes will vary from free Red Rocks tickets to meet and greets to backstage tours to merch packages and anything and everything in between.
So, how do you go about winning said prizes? Pretty simple. For each affiliated event, we will have a booth set up on-site at Red Rocks. Unless otherwise noted, that booth will be set up at the Upper South Lot, right next to the base of the ramp that leads to the venue. Below you can find a map with that area highlighted.
At the booth we will be accepting a variety of donations. Throughout the warmer months, most of those accepted donations will be food items. We’ve partnered up with Metro Caring, the area’s “leading hunger relief organization directly serving families and individuals”. This is an organization that “provides nutritious food to hungry families and individuals while promoting health and self-sufficiency”, and we are proud to be working with them. A list of accepted donation items can be found here. For each item you donate, you will receive one raffle ticket. We will also take down your contact info to notify you in case you win. Once all donations have been received, we will randomly select the winning raffle tickets and notify the winners.
In certain cases, we may also run an online giveaway to help spread the word about this campaign, where we will most likely give away concert tickets and/or meet and greets. How to enter:
To win the tickets, meet & greet, and backstage tour, simply enter our Facebook giveaway here. To win an artist merch pack, simply visit our booth at the location highlighted above between 4 and 8pm on the day of the show, drop off your items, and receive one raffle ticket for each item. If you win, you will be notified and instructions on how to claim your prize will be communicated to you.
