From the glowing decks of Holy Ship! to the laser lit Colorado mountains of Red Rocks, the team over at HARD Fest, led by Gary Richards (aka Destructo), never lets its fans down. This July is no different with the return of HARD Red Rocks to Morrison, Colorado on July 30th, 2015. After last years stellar night of music featuring performances from artists like Dillon Francis, Nero, Rudimental, and more, HARD understood that one-upping themselves in 2015 would not be an easy task.
This summer HARD has brought in Dog Blood to headline the event with a rare performance from this mega duo. Founded in 2012, Dog Blood is the brainchild of electronic superstars Sonny Moore (Skrillex) and Alexander Ridha (Boyz Noize). These two artists have performed under 10 times together and each performance has been highlighted with mass amounts of unreleased music and major announcements. Coming off of a performance at Detroit’s Movement Electronic Music Festival, where the duo also headlined, this is sure to be one of the top performances of any music festival this year. Be sure to check out their award winning EP “Middle Finger Pt. 2″ below:
Also headed to Red Rocks this year are the glitch-hop masters The Glitch Mob and kawaii influenced synth-pop artist Porter Robinson. With The Glitch Mob just having released an outstanding EP titled “Piece of Indestructible“ that is binging in nothing but amazing reviews, and the start of Porter’s tour of American music festivals, the amount of music being brought is truly immense. Also as a special treat to the Red Rocks crowd, Porter will be performing his breathtaking set live, adding another layer to this fantastic night! These two massive acts are returning to Colorado for another round of their amazing music, paired with their staggering visuals that make their sets a true journey though sights and sound! Listen to Porter’s hit song “Lionhearted” before you head to Red Rocks!
Lastly but certainly not the least of this event’s lineup is the head of HARD himself, Destructo, plus the support of two outstanding artists making waves in the music world in Branchez and Denver local option4. As he puts it, the name Destructo represents “My goal to play the hardest and most gnarly techno out there. I’d blow up the sound system and the mixer at clubs if I could.” On the other side is Branchez, bringing trap to the masses with his remixes of songs like Alesso’s Heroes and Mat Zo’s Pyramid Scheme. With his fast paced beats, Branchez is a on the rise producer/DJ who is changing the trap game.
Finally, option4 is a Denver house producer who has been blowing up recently, as his rhythmic beats take him all over the US. From the woods of Camp Bisco in Pennsylvania to the streets of Detroit, option4 has been traveling around, bringing his amazing live set and awesome music everywhere, and now he’s headed to Red Rocks.
With this massive amount of musical talent headed to the mountains, HARD Red Rocks is guaranteed to be an absolutely ridiculous event. We hope to see you at this special Colorado event, and if you haven’t grabbed a ticket yet some are still available: HERE.
